Bryan,
While the intent was good, I have seen Leadership Training for Asian Pafific leaders in Minnesota come and go!
Engaging the community leaders by CAPM to attend the sessions was really just the excuse to claim that they have done something.
From CAPM my question to them is, where is a summarized outline documentation of 'quantifiable-measureable' outcomes or even a plan? And what has been defined of Issues, Barriers, Challenges and expectation of Outcomes?
According to the Strategic Plan that CAPM developed in 2004, during this initiative what are the dimensions of 'accountability' as described on page 13 of 18 for leadership going through training and of 'lessons learned' on techniques, what is/are the support systems on developmental activities on 'coaching, mentoring, tutoring and reporting.
It's another attempt to engage the leadership without serious plans to ensure this will be sustainable.
Would be interested of your feedback.
